Executive Team
The Executive Leadership Team have responsibility for scrutinising the Group's performance. Additional meetings are held to review Board papers and to review operational matters.
The Executive Team is responsible for Governance and the effective implementation of strategies and policies. The team leads, manages and oversees all employees and is accountable to the Group Board.
Nigel is Group Chief Executive of Trident Group, which he joined in September 2023. He is passionate about the social purpose of housing associations and that the voice of tenants is firmly at the heart of this. He has experience supporting the work of the National Housing Federation, Northern Housing Consortium and Housing Association Charitable Trust at board level.
David has been working within the social housing sector, since 2001, in a number of senior finance roles. He aims to bring a business partnering focus to the Finance team which he has achieved elsewhere, challenging and enabling Trident Group to meet its goals. David is a graduate of University of Wolverhampton and a CIMA qualified accountant.
Helen has worked at senior management level within Trident Group, across a range of departments, for 10 years prior to her appointment as Executive Director of Housing, Care and Support in November 2018.
Helen aims to ensure that Trident Group provides residents and customers with good integrated Housing, Care and Support Services.
Helen is our senior officer for Complaints and ensuring compliance with the Consumer Standards.
Gareth joined Trident Group in 2014 and has worked across the business as a member of the Senior Management Team. Gareth has extensive experience in property management, safety and asset compliance and project management working mainly in Social Care and Housing sectors.
Over the last 20 years Gareth has been employed in a number of management positions at local authorities and governmental organisations within the West Midlands as well as working in the private sector working as an independent consultant.
Gareth is committed to the continued investment in Trident Group’s housing stock and ensuring safe and decent homes for all our residents.
Gareth is our lead for Health and Safety.
Wayne joined Trident Group in 2024 and is an accomplished leader with almost 30 years of experience guiding technology, data, and digital functions across the commercial and not for profit sectors, with the last 18 years spent in local government and social housing.
Wayne most recently worked for Bolton Council where he spent the last 18 months driving their digital transformation and future technology programmes.
As the new Executive Director for Data and Information, he will lead on the group’s technology and data strategies whilst developing a culture of data literacy and confidence across the whole of Trident Group.
