We support people to live with more independence, and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Our Learning Disabilities services provide high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities, helping them develop independence, sustain tenancies, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

We provide safe and supported housing for adults with learning disabilities in Birmingham. Our service helps people live independently, manage their home, and stay part of their community.

We offer homes across North and South Birmingham in shared and individual accommodation. Our team provides personal support to help people feel safe, comfortable, and confident in their daily lives.

How We Support You:

  • Help with your home – Understanding your tenancy, managing bills, and dealing with repairs.
  • Living skills – Support with cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting.
  • Work and learning – Help to find training, volunteering, or work opportunities.
  • Health and well-being – Support to access healthcare and live a healthy lifestyle.
  • Staying safe – Support to develop skills on personal safety.
  • Being part of the community – Encouragement to meet new people and take part in local activities.

We provide housing-related floating support for adults aged 18 and over with learning disabilities and/or autism in Coventry. Our goal is to help individuals live independently, sustain tenancies, and engage in their communities while ensuring they have the right support when they need it.

We work in partnership with individuals, families, and local agencies to offer flexible, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs. Our service is designed to promote independence, prevent tenancy breakdown, and empower people to develop life skills in their own homes or supported accommodation.

Our Support Includes:

  • Managing a home – Understanding tenancy responsibilities, dealing with housing issues, and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Budgeting and benefits – Support with managing finances, applying for benefits, and improving financial stability.
  • Employment and training – Help with accessing education, volunteering, and employment opportunities.
  • Independent living skills – Support with shopping, cooking, cleaning, and building daily routines.
  • Community engagement – Encouragement to participate in social activities, reduce isolation, and build support networks.
  • Health and well-being – Helping individuals access healthcare and make informed lifestyle choices.
  • Crisis support and safeguarding – A responsive approach to ensuring safety and preventing homelessness.

Our dedicated floating support team works closely with each person to create a tailored support plan, ensuring they have the confidence and skills to live independently in their own home.

Our Sandwell Learning Disabilities Service offers supported housing for people aged over 18 who have learning disabilities.

We currently provide eight self-contained flats in Smethwick.

Referrals into this service are managed by the Vulnerable People Housing Service within Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. Applications for this service can also be made via approved trusted referrers, such as Social Services.

The support available is to assist people with learning the necessary skills for independent living. All services have access to an evening concierge service as well as an out-of-hours service.
