Our Floating Support Service provides vital, person-centered support to individuals and families facing housing challenges. Our service provides housing-related support for individuals and families who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or need assistance to maintain their independence and well-being. We are here to offer flexible, personalised support tailored to each person’s unique circumstances and goals. Delivered by Trident Reach, this service supports individuals across a variety of housing tenures, offering tailored guidance to help them thrive.

Who We Support

Our service is available to residents across the Telford & Wrekin area who have a genuine need for housing-related support, including:

  • Individuals aged 16-54 and 55+ who are at risk of homelessness or struggling to maintain their housing stability.
  • Young people, working-age adults, and older adults needing assistance with housing, financial management, and overall well-being.
  • Anyone experiencing financial pressures that threaten their ability to remain in their home.

Please note: This service is not available to those currently residing in supported housing or extra care settings.

Our Approach

We provide flexible, accessible services through in-person visits, telephone consultations, and online support, with availability outside traditional working hours to meet diverse needs.

Referral and Access

Referrals can be made by various local agencies, such as the Housing Options Team, Adult Social Care, GPs, or through self-referral. Every referral undergoes a thorough needs and risk assessment, enabling us to develop a personalized support plan that aligns with everyone’s aspirations and circumstances.
