Introducing our New Estates Contractor

Posted on: 30 Jul 24

Trident Group have employed Grounds Care Group to be responsible for all our gardening services.

Following resident feedback, Trident Group have been working to improve the gardening services our residents receive.

Last year, Trident took the decision to end a contract with a previous supplier early, and instead procure a new contract with other grounds maintenance providers whilst using a temporary provider. The procurement process was rigorous and included residents from our Customer Voice Group to ensure residents’ voice was listened to.

We have also employed our new Communal Services Manager, Ben Yardley, who is committed to improving the service we provide to residents and ensure value for money.

We are delighted to announce that we have decided to appoint Grounds Care Group as our providers. They have over 12 years experience providing services to a number of organisations such as the NHS and other Housing Associations and are especially focused on delivering a high quality service. As part of the package, we are able to monitor with real-live updates and photographs the works completed across all sites.

Grounds Care Group began on 1 June 2024, and have been working on all sites to bring them to a standard that our residents expect.

The Grounds Care Group have been with us since the start of June and are making great strides in building a great working relationship with us and most importantly our residents. We can see the improvements of the grounds already and are already receiving positive feedback from residents. The Grounds Care Group will continue to work alongside Trident in improving the communal areas, so residents have a tidy and safe environment to live in. The teams have their set rounds so residents can get familiar with the teams that attend their sites and build that customer relationship.
