Trident resident speaks at Housing Association Charity Trust Event

Mike Crump, Trident resident, Homes and Communities Committee and Customer Voice Group Member, spoke at The Centre for Excellence in Community Investment Conference 2024.
On Tuesday, 24 September 2024, one of our residents Michael Crump was invited to speak at a Resident Voice Panel at the Housing Association Charity Trust (HACT)’s The Centre for Excellence in Community Investment Conference 2024.
As Vice Chair of our Customer Voice Group and member of our Homes and Communities is involved in scrutinising the work Trident do and ensuring that resident voice is heard at a strategic level. He spoke about this at the panel and the importance of having residents involved where decisions are made.
I hope I emphasised the crucial importance of resident engagement within Housing Associations at meaningful levels including in committees. This is to the mutual benefit of residents and professionals involved in maintaining, developing and improving service delivery. Resident involvement is crucial in my opinion to the integrity of any Housing Association.
