Thank you for making our charity auction a success!

Our charity auction at Deelands Hall last week on Friday, 25 November, raised a whopping £830 for the Christmas food hamper appeal!

Of course, the evening would not be possible at all without an impressive lineup of prizes. Thank you to all the colleagues, individuals and businesses who donated, including contributions from:

• MacDonald Burlington Hotel – 1 night B&B stay for 2 adults
• Paws here – dog training sessions (x3)
• Behan’s butcher’s – £10 meat vouchers (x2)
• W &J Mason butcher’s  – £10 meat vouchers (x2)
• The Opposition hair – £10 hair vouchers (x2)
• Licky hills  kitchen – Full English breakfast for 2 adults
• Glam HQ – £35 cut and blow dry voucher (x2)
• Renaissance hair and beauty – Dry cut voucher
• Act Nails – £20 voucher
• West Midlands Safari Park – Entry tickets for 2 adults
• Amy’s Floral design – £10 voucher

Bernie McFall, Social and Community Engagement Manager at Deelands Hall, was over the moon with the success of the auction and everyone who helped make it possible:

“The auction was great fun; we had a great turnout! A huge thank you to our Auctioneers, Mark and Sarah Davis of Halesowen Auctions, and fellow Trident team member, Connor, for everything they did to support this year’s appeal. I also want to thank our volunteers Anita, Julie and Michelle who helped on the day to get everything ready.”

Bernie would also like to thank volunteer and Trident colleague Louise for her dedication to helping with the fundraising efforts this year:

“I am so grateful to Louise for working alongside me all the way this year. Her Halloween party raised £102 for us and raised a further £65 running the shop at the auction alongside her mother and daughter.

Louise’s father also donated bird tables – which he makes by hand – to the auction, plus an extra £100 towards the food hampers – it was a real family affair and a truly amazing evening!”

The fundraising appeal for the Deelands Hall Christmas Hampers ends on, Wednesday, 7 December, so this is the last chance to contribute.
