John Sisk and Son donates Christmas gifts to children in refuge

Posted on: 23 Dec 22

Ireland’s leading builder and contractor John Sisk and Son have generously donated handmade wooden Christmas gifts to children in our refuges.

The toys were designed and hand built by apprentices in Dublin before being delivered to Trident offices.

The toys will be given to our domestic abuse refuges to make this Christmas an extra special time. We recognise that children living in refuges may have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse, along with their mothers, and are victims/survivors in their own right, having these toys will help make this Christmas a special one – safe and able to make happy new memories.

Gareth Price, Director of Technical Services, Joanne Spence, Head of Housing and Support, and Nicola Evans, Facilities and Safety Manager, accepted the gifts on behalf of Trident. The donations were handed to our colleagues by Steve Rogers, Project Director, and Gwyneth Shirley, Senior Commercial Manager who have built up a really positive relationship with Nicola Evans over the years and have supported our refuges every Christmas over that time.

Trident wishes to thank John Sisk and Son for their continued generosity in supporting women and their children who are affected by domestic abuse. The gifts are beautiful and are sure to bring a great deal of joy to children on Christmas Day.
