Trident Group, which owns more than 3,400 homes across the Midlands, has launched the first phase of the campaign which focuses on getting residents the help and support they need to keep up to date with rent payments.
The ‘pay your rent before it’s spent’ campaign encourages residents to prioritise paying their rent in the lead up to Christmas and sees both the Locality and Intensive Housing Management teams contacting everyone who has arrears, and offer them support and advice around their finances.
The campaign will also encourage as many residents as possible to transfer their payments to Direct Debit to ensure they don’t fall in arrears.
Later phases of the campaign will highlight the importance of making rent payments and that not paying your rent could mean losing your home.
Residents are encouraged to engage with their Locality Officer or Intensive Housing Management Officer to get advice and support if they’re struggling to make rent payments and get the appropriate advice and support.
