Shape the government’s social housing policy by applying to be a Resident Panel Member
The Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government (MCHLG) are recruiting for social housing residents to join their national resident panel.
The Social Housing Resident Panel brings together up to 250 social housing residents from across the country so they can directly share their views with the government and ministers as policy on social housing is developed and reforms implemented.
The Panel can get involved in full meetings, smaller focus groups, and surveys and questionnaires.
If successful as panel members you would vote on their priority topics within social housing policy, with suggestions put forward by Panel members. The MHCLG team then look for opportunities for the Panel to influence policy as it is developed, reflecting those priorities.
They are encouraging all residents interested in applying and to share their views to better shape social housing!
Apply by filling in a short application form.
Closing date for applications is 11pm on Sunday 7 September 2025.
