Day to Day Issues
We want you to live in thriving communities and to achieve we will work in partnership with you to ensure we make your neighbourhood a place you’re proud to live.
Every resident is responsible for their behaviour and they need to ensure that everyone in their household, and their visitors, treat their home and the neighbourhood with respect and follow the rules set out in their tenancy agreement.

What you can do
- If you feel safe, try to speak to the person and explain how their behaviour is affecting you.
- Use the ASB App to record what is happening. You can take photos, videos or sound recordings.
- Keep a record of each incident using the app.
- If you cannot use the app, you can ask us for incident log sheets.

- Give us permission to speak to your neighbour about the issue.
- Join any meetings or mediation we arrange to help resolve things.
- Keep us updated and continue to report any issues if the behaviour does not stop.
What we can do
- If you have already tried speaking to your neighbour and the issue continues, we can speak to them for you.
- We may send a letter asking them to change their behaviour.
- We might invite you and your neighbour to a meeting to help find a solution together.
- If the issue is parking and we have a parking contractor, we can ask them to help manage the situation.
- If the problem is everyday noise (for example, walking on hard floors), we may be able to help with carpets if someone is struggling financially.
What other agencies can do
