Over the last few weeks the nation has been captivated by England’s impressive World Cup campaign, with supporters across the country coming together to cheer on the Three Lions as they aim for a place in the final.
At Trident Group, we know many residents will be enjoying the matches with friends and family as the team hopes to bring home the trophy for the first time since 1966.
Following ASB Awareness Week, delivered in partnership with Resolve, we’d like to encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly and be mindful of neighbours and the wider community.
England’s Potential Path to the Final
England’s next possible matches are:
- Quarter-final: England v Norway – Saturday 11 July, 10pm (BST)
- Semi-final: Wednesday 15 July, 8pm (BST), if England progress.
- Final: Sunday 19 July, 8pm (BST), if England reach the final.
We understand that England’s success is generating excitement and watch parties with friends and family are becoming a preferred way to watch the games.
As the infamous chants of, “It’s coming home”, get increasingly louder, we want to remind people that not everyone will be watching the football, and with the late kick offs have young children and work to consider
If you’re hosting a watch party, please:
- Keep noise to a reasonable level, particularly late in the evening.
- Remind guests to respect neighbours and shared spaces.
- Dispose of any litter responsibly.
- Be considerate when parking and avoid blocking driveways or parking directly outside residents’ homes where it may cause inconvenience.
Reporting Noise Nuisance
We recognise that residents should be able to enjoy the tournament. However, where noise becomes frequent, excessive or ongoing, we encourage residents to use the Noise App to record and evidence persistent noise nuisance complaints.
What is Anti-Social Behaviour?
Not every complaint will amount to anti-social behaviour, and each report is assessed on its individual circumstances.
